The American Airlines Arena serves as the home for the Heat. They moved there in 1999. The new stadium is able to support over 20,000 basketball fans. The modern facilities of the stadium caters to the needs of both the players and the fans. The new stadium was not the only addition to the team. New players were also introduced. And come 2004, Shaq was welcomed by the team from the Lakers.
Pat Riley stepped down as the coach in 2003 to become the team's president. He resumed his coaching post in 2005. Leading the team, they won the Championship in 2006. The Heat is preparing to win another championship title. The improvement in both the players as well as the game plays has prepared the team for everything.
